PPM Move Kit: Printable Log Sheets + Excel Tracker for a Personally Procured Move (DITY)
A working toolkit for military members doing their own PCS move. Track your weight tickets, sort every receipt against DFAS's authorized-expense list, see your estimated payout after withholding, and walk into the claim with the right paperwork in DFAS's own order.
What it does
Includes a print-and-fill PDF and an Excel workbook with live formulas, plus a filled-in worked example ($5,000 GCC, $1,800 expenses: $4,136.00 final payment, $2,336.00 kept). Built on the same sourced rules as the free calculators at militarypaymath.com, but it is the organizing system the calculators do not give you.
What's included
- Timeline: enter your load date, a 13-step schedule fills in with dates and done-tracking
- Weight Ticket Log: 10 trips, tare/gross per trip, net weight, total vs. your allowance; flags over-allowance, gross < tare and a missing empty or full ticket; uncertified-ticket count
- Expense Log: 60 lines, DFAS category dropdown; each line auto-flags Counts / Not authorized / Ask TO; totals and missing-receipt count; amounts must be numbers of 0 or more
